well my circumstances has changed.. apparently I took my jeep out to pismo beach sand dunes... all the kids wanted to go, but we are a family of 5 and the yj only seats 4...safely... Wife said it's time to sell the YJ and get a NEW JEEP that seats all 5.... I guess I'll be posting it up for sale...

Just an update. Since last post. I found a Jeep mechanic who fixed the loss if power issue. Spark plus, updated alternator replaced & the heater blower. The Jeep has been running like a champ with no issues. I haven’t upgraded the tires to 33s yet because I bought some mustangs. 1 in 2018...

Problem was solved! Drove over 100 miles and did not have any issues :)

There was also an issue with the heater. Apparently the motor was toast. Replaced it and now the heater is working. Not that I use it much but at least it works now.

Update: 3/3/17 After taking it to several mechanics I finally found one that specializes in jeeps. It was an issue with the sensors. The O2 sensor and cams sensor where replaced. I Just picked up the jeep today and took it for a long drive and had no issues. Hopefully solve my problem. Now...

Thank you.. It's been awhile since i've done anything as we are expecting our 3rd child. Will get back on track in March. :)

4/27/2016: I ordered and received a New TPS, New 02 sensor and New Cam sensor. Hopefully replacing these will solve my issues...if not I don't know what else will.

April 27, 2016 Update: I've had some issues with the engine losing power...I've posted a thread on that. I haven't done any work to it, but I have a list: New Engine Replace rear axle assembly to a Dana 44 or something with a locker..just not sure which kind. Replace Heater motor as the heater...

Thanks for the info. I've been researching it on online.. it is the CPK.. Looking to purchase an OEM part from Rock Auot or Jeggs. Any suggestions? Hopefully this will solve my problem.

There is a cam /crank sensor which I ordered. I ordered the OEM From rock auto. Hopefully that solves my problem. Will post my results once arrived and installed.
