I bought this thinking it was a YJ glass then found out it wasn't. I am not 100% sure that this is for a CJ, you would have to double check the measurements. I am asking $60 or trade for a YJ glass. I live near Chicago, IL

Update if anyone is interested: Well I found out that most likely this is a CJ Windshield. I'm going to sell it as a CJ but will state that not a 100% sure. I'll post it in the For Sale Forum

If you could measure it, I would greatly appreciate it. The CJ and YJ glass do taper in a bit. My drawing is over doing it slightly, sorry about that.

I live near Chicago. I do have a 2.5l 3 speed auto with 3.73. The 3 speed make me worry if it could handle 4.88 at highway speeds. The manual 2.5l have 4.10.

You could but you will have no power. Not yet experiencing this I can't say how much power loss. I too have a 2.5L and plan on 33, hopefully in less than a month and plan on 4.56 or 4.88

Thanks for the info. I am going to bring it to a local trans shop and let them do the free check, not sure what they will do but I am not going to let them drop it because i know they will add a heavy cost to me. Lets see what they can find, hopefully something minor, but thats not likely.

Does the trans problem sound like it was caused by towing it?
