Why dont people jeep wave any more?

I get plenty of waves myself. Just keep waving at them and you'll eventually train everyone in your area

Here in CT its kinda hit and miss although I have to say the jk people never wave back
There are Jeepers and Jeep owners. Jeepers wave and are family. Jeep owners are regular people who happen to own a Jeep. Does not matter if it's a MB, CJ, YJ, TJ, JK or whatever.
When I wave, I've gotten just as many waves back from JK drivers as I have strange looks from older Jeep drivers. It's the person behind the wheel, not the vehicle.
Keep waving and you can convert the Jeep owners to Jeepers. Snub them and our family shrinks.

When I first got the jeep I had no idea what the jeep wave was until I noticed lots of other jeepers waving at me, now I try to wave at every jeep I see, even when most waves aren't returned.

You know I hate to say this but untill 3 months ago I didn't know anything about the wave. I owned the Cherokee for 5 years and I guess I might have took it for granted living in a small town and I do know alot of the people here. Maybe I was getting the Jeep wave and didn't know it but I've always waved back. I mentioned the wave to a friend and felow Jeep owner at work and he said. "You know I have noticed people waving in other Jeeps and my girlfriend just thought I was popular" I didn't know owning a Jeep was a brother[or sister]hood. I've owned Harleys for many years and have always appreciated how bikers would help one anthor. If my bike is down for any reason that it wont run or ride and any of my biker friends know it. They will offer to help in some way, be it give or loan the part I need or offer to help with the repair and many will loan me the use of their bike. As far as people not waving, maybe they don't know or have alot on them. I am glad that I have been schooled up on the wave!

So.Cal is a big place so its a hit and miss I noticed . It dosint matter I keep throwing the peace sign, they'll get it eventually or shoot back.....hopefully they'll just get it! LOL

The nick name "minivan jeep" comes from chryslers choice in engine for the Jk. Don't take it so hard. When the YJ first came out every one called it the yuppie jeep. It's just new guy hazing
