tj air intake restrictor?

i have have a 97 tj with the the 4-banger, does it actually have the air restrictor installed on it? i removed the tube that goes from the air filter box to the box over the throttle body & it looked clear. i installed a k&n & dremeled out the front facing section of the air filter box to make a ghetto CAI. just trying to free it up some more if i can.

Nope, the TJ has a little different style airbox, so there is no restrictor there.
