Mad props on the prostyle idea snitty. . . way to get around them blasted inspections.

I disagree. It's your converter. See the converter is basically a filter that filters out all the crap. That filter is like a honeycomb ceramic brick in your cat converter. When it breaks up, the pieces get stuck in your muffler and restrict flow, thus keeping your jeep from going fast. Once you blow that crap out, it can breathe and can go fast again. (Jeep going fast is a relative term.)

i know a few people who did that with their cat... if you hit it (which is an inspector's and a cop's quick way of telling if it is there) it will sound like everything is still in there, when really, it is just a pipe that looks like a cat
