For the record, I use that site map and like it. I never have any trouble with it and find it convienent to move around with it.
I do believe it is a java problem in each browser you have, especially IE. There was a version IE 6 that came without the Java part because of the arguements between microsoft and sun. Microsoft added one of thier own but it never worked for me and I had to install the sun version anyway.
I bet that is still the issue here. At any rate, Sorry ya'll are having trouble but I use and like the feature.
