New jeep followed me home

In the last month, the jeep has not been driven. It won't start and says no bus on the cluster. It looks luke the black plug that the cluster plugs into has some issues... it acts like the clustee pins are not making good contact.

Dont know how to fix that though

Maybe some spray electronics cleaner to try and get the pins shined up a bit? I'd try cleaning and wiggling the wires before I tried replacing the cluster.

I tried everything.

Look at the wires going into the back of the plug to be sure none are backing out. The CrC. QD Contact Cleaner.

Disconnect the battery and clear the code.
Check the battery is fully charged.
Mine sits too long and the battery slowly drains.

Well, jeep is still dead.

I was looking through the folder the previous owner gave me and he had to replace the crank sensor a number of times. Kind of odd.

And its been rainy and cold so that sucks.

Yesterday i had hernia surgery too so now i have to wait till that heals.

Since i am bored and cant do anything i did order a new crank sensor for it. Just for the heck of it

Make sure it has a paper gasket on the tip. That sets the spacing from the flywheel. Without it you may crack or destroy it on the first turn.

New crank sensor, wiper motor, and key switch and nothing. I did order a new ecu because i found thay the fuel pump runs non stop when the key is in the run position instead of just priming and turning off. And the ecu that is in the jeep is a junkyard replacement that looks like someone ran it over.

Hopefully the ecu gets it back running.
