Jeep TJ Transfer Case fluid

My owner's manual doesn't specify what fluid to use in my transfer case. I've done some google / youtubing and it looks like I should put about 2 quarts of ATF+4 in it.

I haven't changed the fluid in my tcase in about 10 years, so I imagine it's time.

Anyone able to verify this is correct (type and volume)?

Atf+4 same as transmission. App 1.5 quarts. Fill until it spills out gill hole.

1.5 quarts is right on the money. I really love this fluid extractor, it made this job so easy. I've got aftermarket skid plates and I would have had to drain the fluid right onto the skid plate. I was able to unscrew the fill plug and suck all the fluid out right through that.
