In the frame headers

When I traded for my Jeep, the guy threw in a set of new headers. The Jeep has the 304 in it. Now these are inside the frame headers, just looking under this thing it looks as if it'll be close running the pipes between the transfer case and frame. Would have much rather had the outside the frame headers but free's hard to beat. Anybody running this kind? Any problems? Regrets? Suggestions?
 

Mine have always run along the inside of the frame, no problems. More like OEM.
 
In frame, long tube as Hooker calls them I've had on both a '76 Renegade and my current '77. Clutch rod adjustments are a little tight, but can be done, other than that, there's no cutting involved as there is with some fender exit headers.
