differential question

I recently had to have my front differential on my Grand Cherokee replaced and they said that the oil was as dirty as oil can get and that the gears all needed replacing. if that was the case with the front differential, should i be worried about the rear?

i would do a fluid exchange on the rear pumpkin. drain it all and put new fluid in.
