Back up light?

Does anyone know where the sending unit for the backup light is? I have taken off the rivited cover by the manual shift and 4wd levers, and I have two pieces of metal that look like they used to serve some function like the backup lights. Does anyone know what they are, or where I could find replacement parts?

If you can not figure it out just run some wire and hook up to a toggle switch and you got when you need em. Also add a 150 watt flood beam back there so you can see when you back up. Also works well to get the bright light driver off you tail late at night! heheh Tug

Usually on the back of the transmission. But by now, I'm sure you've located it!

I am in the same boat as you are,, Now I am wondering even more what the two, non parallel connectors are for. If any one knows, please enlighten..
