Anyone have a good idea where to start looking for the leak? It must be small enough that I can go a couple of days before I need to add...but as you can imagine this is not something I want to continue to do! Any help would be appreciated by this novice. I can't find anyone local to look at a standard transmission. I did just replace the transmission, and entire clutch assembly just over a year ago.

Thanks,

Likely the internal clutch slave, which means dropping the transmission again.

The Peugeot isn't that bad a transmission, especially in a stock jeep. I abused one behind a 350 for quite a while.

A little trick that works in not too cold climates (I do this as a "last chance" because it destroys seals in the long run) Put in Crisco cooking oil. It's thicker than brake fluid and stopped the leak in my '87 MJ for 6 months (then it went altogether but since I'm swapping to auto I didn't care)

my 1990 is leaking too but very slowly. let you know when i fix
