Already replace pickup in tank, checked suction at fuel pump, could not get a reading. Threw a new pump and filter on, getting down close to 1/2 tank again, we'll see what happens. Has anyone used the weber carb from Weber direct? Read some bad things, the jeep runs o.k. but poor feul mileage...

Mike, did you get your problem fixed, I also have a 89 Wrangler, 258 with a weber carb. fuel gets down to 1/2 tank and it dies like it,s out of fuel. pour a couple of gallons in the tank aand it willtart right up???
