    Book

I did not see that. All I seen was a website. I'll go back and try to find it. All I found was some hobby website. And it asks you to buy it for an ungodly $1100.

I looked there. They directed me to the website that is no longer there.

    Book

The title is bj builds an amc. And it's just supposed to be a rebuild he did on his amc engine with the amc specifics. I've heard it was a good guide for anyone building one up.

    Book

I know this probably is in the wrong spot but it is for a cj and a lot more people will see this. I'm looking for a copy of BJ builds an AMC. new, used, book or PDF. I don't care. I've searched and searched. Only thing I could find is some hobby website that doesn't exist anymore. Thanks in advance.

    Amc 304

Poking for a 1972-1978 amc 304. Block and heads would be fine. Located in wv so someone within 150 miles or willing to ship. Thank you

    Amc 304 or 360

Make a 4.6 stroker. Runs more hp and torque than even a 360

    Amc 304 or 360

Apparently the 304 doesn't really have that much more power than the 258. Maybe the 360 would be good

    Amc 304 or 360

Lol. I think I'm wanting to stick with the 304. It is my dd. I would love to have a 401 but I don't want to have to stop for gas on my 25 mile commute for gas. :).

    Amc 304

I already have a thread for this. I'm sorry everyone. I thought I was posting to another site. So to avoid the confusion since it won't let me delete this I'll send you to the original. http://www.jeepz.com/forum/cj-yj-tj-jk/45881-amc-304-360-a.html

    Amc 304

So I have a 1985 cj7 and a 1973 258 to rebuild to put in it. I have thought about it and read about it. I think I want to put a 304 in it. A little more power but better gas mileage over a 360 or 401. I don't have one and idk how much they go. I'm trying to get an idea on it. If anyone ha one...

    T-176 rebuild

No. The gears go on and off by hand

    T-176 rebuild

That's what I was thinking. I ordered a new gear just in case. Id still like to know if that would tear up my mainshaft. Lol

    T-176 rebuild

No. It's the 32 tooth first gear and it rides on the main shaft itself. No bearings

    Bolts

So as I have bought a new transmission and adapter I have no idea what size my bolts are. If anyone knows please fill me in. I've googled and everything and all I can find out is that it is a 6 bolt pattern which in my opinion is pretty obvious, so no help there. It would be helpful to know the...

    T-176 rebuild

I my first gear has a wore down side. It's rough. I don't know what happened. It just slides on the mainshaft. But my question is that if I use this gear again will it ruin the transmission or will it be fine? All my other gears are smooth inside. There is a place on the mainshaft that is rough...

    Transmission

I'm looking for a T-176 transmission. I posted in the wanted section, but didn't get many hits. Figured it would better be seen here.

    T-176 Transmission

That's really all I need. Just to rebuild one for my jeep. Anything will work. I would be happy with just a case and lid with nothing inside
