The title is bj builds an amc. And it's just supposed to be a rebuild he did on his amc engine with the amc specifics. I've heard it was a good guide for anyone building one up.

Apparently the 304 doesn't really have that much more power than the 258. Maybe the 360 would be good

No. It's the 32 tooth first gear and it rides on the main shaft itself. No bearings
