New seats for fathersday.

Well the ol lady gave me the Ok to get some new seats for the jeep project for fathers day. I have been eyeballing the corbeau baja style suspension seats but I haven't actually sat in any. Does anyone have any input on these seats or have any ideas on outher brands. Jc wittney also has a garage pro seat that looks to be the same style for $149.99 but I don't know anyone that has used this brand before. I would like to keep it around 200 bucks a piece. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Before you buy anything find a store or someone that has them and sit in them just to make sure you like them, and they fit you well.
Like jeeps, all seats are different.

If they're the JC Whittey seats that look like Corbeau A4's SAVE YOUR MONEY. The recliner gear only suppors one side of the seat, first bump the gear will strip and you'll have to use a 2x4 to prop the seat up thereafter.
Learned this firsthand

That's what I figured. You usually get what you pay for. I think I'm gona go with the corbeau. They are reasonably priced and I can eventually get a matching rear bench. Thanks for the heads up.

 Turned out that Corbeau A4's have the same single sided support on their seats. stripped one gear but the overnighted a new one for free. I'm now supporting the other side with a wedge between the edge of the seat back and the fender well, been working for two years now.

yup. i had corbeau race seats in one of my race bmws. got rid of it fairly quickly because it wasn't as comfortable and felt cheap compared to the recaro sport seats. i kept the recaros when i sold the bmw and have been contemplating putting them in the jeep
