HELP!

I fix all my cars this is a new one for me i just bought check this sweet deal out a 1990 wagoneer limited with only not kidding 25,000 miles. A grandma used it for her trips to maine(got to love that grandma) the best thing is that I only paid 1,250 for it she got a new one. My problem is that my back up lights are not working I have check the fuses yes all of them are all right and yes they are the right ones I triple checked. I replaced the bulbs and did for some dumb reason I did a neautral start switch test. This weekend my friend is going to do a volt test on it. I am impatient can anyone think of anything else that it might be I have till Thrusday to inspect it. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Welcome!

It sounds like you've got a bad backup light switch. This switch will be a separate switch on a manual transmission, and will be part of the multifunction Neutral safety switch on an auto transmission.

If you are positive the switch is good, the wiring and/or connections are worth checking out
