The guy I bought it from told me it run when it was parked. I know it sat for a long time so I'm hoping it's just some condensation. I have to drop the oil pan anyways because when changing the fuel pump, I dropped a piece of the old gasket in there do it'll be pulled anyways. I'll post updates...

    Ignition coil on 76 CJ5, 6 cylinder

I'm in the slow process of breathing life into this CJ5 I recently got. It sat for far too long so I am having to replace the fuel system and someone broke the ignition out of the steering column trying to steel it before I bought it. I'm almost done with the fuel lines. Id like to see if the...

Let's see some nice CJ pics please.

It's not very practical. I'm going to take that out and run the exhaust out the back. I've considered using the media blaster to take off most of the paint only because there are 3 levels of paint on three. The green you see, baby blue, and the original maroon-ish color.

Figured I'd use the blaster for smaller parts and maybe the tailgate, hood, bumpers, and roll bar. Just wondering but why not use sand on the body other than it gets everywhere?

New project 76' CJ-5, I-6. Motor was locked up. Got it freed up. In the process of cleaning all of the fuel lines and making sure the electrical is safe. The previous owner put the plug wires on like it was a 72'-74' model. Very few real rust issues. Just bought a compressor, sand blaster, and...

    Thoughts on a 48 willys

I think I'll try it. If I do, I'll post pictures along the way. I emailed kaiserwillys.com about the frame. Told me they sell the front 49" for the MB and that hold work. Anyone know any other good sites for 40's jeep parts?

    Thoughts on a 48 willys

I found frame parts from kaiserwillys.com, I've never used them before. He says he may have some of the paperwork with it but it wouldn't be hard to title it if he has the data plate. He said the motor ran fine just before he parked because of the frame. Even if its $300, I believe I could...

    Thoughts on a 48 willys

A guy at work informed me that he has a 48-50 model willys that he would gladly sell to me for a few hundred bucks. Has motor, trans, and most of the body. might even have the data plate. Frame is cracked in the front. Thoughts? (I attempted to add a picture, lets see if it worked)
