I like the manual for better control over engine speeds on trails and through mud holes. that being said it sucks if you got a trail that's inconsistent in its terrain. out in Ocala i found myself constantly shifting gears because I wanted to save gas/ make sure I can get through what I need to.

superj do you know how to clear your cache? I can't really explain it from my iPhone but if you dont know how the tool is in system tools, if you're using xp or vista.

could be. at those higher rpm's id say it should be closer to 35-40. could be wrong though. how's the engine temp?

you could cut that piece out and weld a new section of 1/4in steel in. also I know they make weldable sections of frame. I dunno if it's for your model or not though

96 degrees F or celsius? if it's Fahrenheit then leave it alone. that's a great temp to run at.

my dad did the same thing through a mud hole but instead of popping a header flange he shattered three pistons...

could be that. check to see if your front drive shaft is spinning. if so then it's something in the diff. if not then maybe it's your t-case

need a bit more info. what do you mean by didn't wanna kick in? wouldn't engage in 4wd or you had it in 4x4 but front wheels weren't spinning?
