definitely check the 360 out very well for leaks. the rear main is probe to leaking and that can lead to trouble. that's what essentially ruined ours. the v8 is wonderful though and as long as its not a daily driver or you don't mind poor gas mileage I'd say go for it!!

if it is a t176 it should mate up. ours mated to a amc 360. not entirely sure if there was any work done to make that work; it was in the jeep when we bought it. check out Novak adapters for info regarding engine/trans combos.

the mechanics are right from what I've been told. ive run motors at as low as 20 psi before without any real trouble. as long as it doesn't drop below what it normally runs at you should be fine.

I'm assuming that the 25-30 is when it's been warmed up? in my opinion that's a safe range to be in but I'm not sure what the specs say for that engine.
