wiper motor wiring ?

i need some help finding out which wires are which going into my wiper motor. its a 79 cj5 and when i bought it the wiper motor was burnt up and we tested it at first and no matter how u turned the switch all 3 wires were always hot. so what i need to know is what each of the wires,(red green and black) are supposed to be so i can wire my new motor in with a differnt switch.

If you look at the back of the switch, the wiring goes as follows.

Starting at the left, there is a single red 12v wire from the fuse block. Next to this wire is a second red wire coming from the wiper motor. Next to this wire, second set of wires from the right of the switch, are two wires stacked on top of each other. The black from the motor goes on top, the green wire from the motor goes on the bottom. Finally, the last wire, a yellow one from the fuse block goes on the right-most tab.
