Transfer case skid plate

Don't know if I posted this on the site before so here goes. While installing the TC skid plate I stripped/siezed one of the bolts and the nut plate began turning so I now have two bolts holding the skid plate on the passenger side. Does anyone know of a method to repair/replace this nutplate? I don't think its a big deal just hate little nagging issues and especially ones caused by improper use of impact wrench.

You can purchase this crush nut sleeve from a dealer or maybe from napa.The best way that i know how is to cut the lip off the thread insert off the frame and insert the new crush sleeve nut into the hole and then install a nut on the bolt that goes into the crush nut. tighten the nut while holding the bolt with a wrench until the sleeve on the crush nut starts compressing onto the frame. Remove the nut and bolt and then install another clean bolt into it and then use a 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive impact to fully compress the nut and your done.
