Regearing the Dana30

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to change gears to some 4.10's or 4.56's. I have an 84' CJ7 with the stock Dana30 and AMC20, will I have to get a new case for the front going with the 4.10's? I plan on putting in lockers both front and rear, will the locker take care of the case problem in the front if I do need a new case? I have a shop that is going to help me install all the gears and lockers for free, all I have to do is buy the parts. Any help would be great.

You'll need new differential carriers if you have tall gears now. The gear brake for each axle is usually different.

Some lockers replace the entire carrier, like a Detroit and ARB. Some replace the spider gears and install in an open carrier, like LockRight, Aussie, and EZLocker.
