Locating the oil pressure sending unit

I have a 1999 Wrangler... I'm trying to find the oil pressure switch so i can change it..... (Has bad sensor).... I know its on the passenger side of the motor.... but thats about it.. can anyone help me out?

On a 4.0 I6 , it should be on the rear section passenger side of the block. One wire sensor. It's next to the Dipstick tube.

Did you find it next to the dipstick, where SteelHeadz said it would be, or somewhere else? I think I need to change my sender unit as well.

mine is on top of the oil filter.

Actually the damn thing keeps breaking off :x~curse the aftermarket~It seem none of the replacement engine oil dipsticks for the AMC motors have the mounting tab on the tube as they did OE. Luckily Mac's Jeeparts had an NOS one that bolts to one of the header bolts for support.

Turned out the ones Mac had were for Buick 6's, so I fabbed my own out of HEAVY plumbers tape
