Im lookin for a 4in. lift? 700$ or less. What have you guys heard about Hellcreek?? And do you know where i could find a normal stainless steel rear bumper that will match the front 54" one that im getting?

I don't know anything about Hellcreek, but the people on here who run them all seem pleased. For $700 you have lots of options for a YJ. Skyjacker is my first choice, but there are lots of good lifts out there.

Smaller lifts generally ride better, so alot of people buy the smaller 2-3" kits if they have to go cheap, and make up the difference with a small BL and shackles. A 2.5" spring + 1" body lift + .5" lift shackles makes 4" of total lift.

I have the 4" HellCreek lift -they make their own springs (for the 4" anyway) and uses rough country hardware (includes the drop pitman arm for power steering apps.) comes w/all the drop brackets (even the square tube for the xfer case drop) and shocks are included... pop the extra for the steering damper shock - Tom Laher is great at answering questions and giving advice - I think they still have it for $425+ frt. and from what i hear the warranty is outstanding (havent had to use it though!) == just my $.02

i too have an 87 YJ.
I have a rubicon express lift 4", just installed it 2 weeks ago. Finally starting to loosen up, although I think th DT9000s are a bit stiff. If I would have had a choice I would have asked for less stiff shocks. Paid 599 no shipping cost from jeepinoutfitters.com
