Looks painful when I slam my head against it getting in and out. But maybe that's just me as I'm 6'6".

Excellent product. I have the fronts and rears installed in my Jeep. You do not have to worry about hitting your head. If you hit your head on these then your not wearing a seatbelt. You should see these in person before making assumptions.
