Hey we just put a shackle kit approx 2-3 inches longer on the shackle side for now to take care of tire rub. At the moment I don't do massive 4-wheeling and I don't drive my jeep as a daily driver. I use it a lot for trails and mud at the moment. Mainly just trying to get it up a little bit. Tonight right before we got the the mountain I snapped the rear drive shift right out of the yolk. Did we not loosen the u-bolts or something to let the axle turn a bit?? Should you do that? What can I do to keep it from breaking again? Or was it most likely time for the axle to go anyway?? 89 YJ Sahara... 31's and that shackle kit. Thanks for the help =)[addsig]

As parents tell their children when a pet dies...it's just time for your faithful yoke to move on to a better place. I busted a U - Joint on the driveshaft and about a month later the yoke decided to be cool and keep up with the U - Joint and do the same thing. Lots of stress on those parts...especially stock parts. I always see it as an excuse to upgrade to something I probably really don't need, but would be fun anyway.
