88 cherokee trans yrs

I'm in the market for a new trans and want to know what yrs are bolt in. Or if you have rebuilt one advice is always welcome.

its the aw4 auto.

Keep watch for output shaft spline count. They had a few upgrades in the later years for internals in 92 and later

The early ones are stand alone controlled to so all should have same connectors up until 94 or 95.
