I have a '97 2.5 liter TJ with 4.11 gears in it, dana 35 rear, 30 front. Anywho, somehow I managed to break HALF a pinion tooth off (rendering it still driveable, but for how long lol). I was wondering if anyone has ever changed to 4.88 rings and pinions and if so, how much of a chore was it (special tools?) I have worked on rear ends before, but never a jeep rear end. [addsig]
