Just put on mpi . Had tank out to clean and put new hoses on. Installed fuel tank and forgot to figure out what fuel line is pick up and return. How do I figure this out with the tank installed and the hoses hanging out. Crap !

With some, not a lot, of fuel in the tank, the supply line will create a syphon. Or if you were blow air into the supply, it should bubble. Maybe? Don't really know........

That sucks. try the above, if that doesnt work, I would just hook up the hoses and try to start the engine. If they are on wrong it wont start, or at least not stay running long. It may take a few cranks of the motor for it to start because the pump has to fill the lines with fuel before it reaches the motor.
