I did the Dana300 Scout to my T-18(78CJ) it has the tera low 4:1 kit, I LOVE it!!! I ended up with 102:1 in first, the scout dana 44(4.10:1) axle shafts in my rear got twisted by all the torque, so now I am getting cromoly shafts, it never ends!!!

I DO have emissions, and I already have the Howell EFI, I would like to do the head swap to get some more power out of my 4.2, I have to have EGR. Need to know the right exhaust (OEM, or CARB# parts, California air resources board ) and the best intake with EGR for power.

Never heard of a renix EFI manifold, is that a stock part I can look for at the junkyards? What about bolting that on the 4.0 head, I have smoke when I start the engine for a few seconds, If I am going to do anything to the head on this thing, It's going away in favor of the 4.0. Ive had the EFI going for a while now, works great, the idle is a little higher than I like, but it runs great, I could definitely use more power though. I need to get the 4.0 head and convert it, what intake/exhaust do I use, so I can still have EGR for emmisions?

I out the Howell EFI on my jeep and love it, I still could use more power, will that offenhouser manifold work in the the place of stock, (I still want my Throttle body bolted to this) and where do I find those? header and manifold.
