Under a shade tree in Rural Mexico

Hello Mike, Somewhere I read that GM made a car (in the 1950's ?), that you could not change the rear tire w/o first removing the fender. I think they caught that one before it went into final production. Leave it to engineers, "O" rings, and design by committees---which apparantly don't have...

Under a shade tree in Rural Mexico

I have changed oil filters on many different cars over the past 40 years but getting to the filter on this 2005 Jeep Liberty is by far the most difficult. It must have never occured to the engineers that some guy would need to do his own oil change and filter some day. Short of pulling the...

Gas Prices in your town ???

OK---some of you guys NOB (north of border) have us down here in Mexico now. Crunch liters to gallons and dollars to pesos---regular is about $2.34/gal---but no alcohol so it has a little more punch. They drink all the alcohol rather than burn it in their cars. All the Best, T-boneDonMx

Gas Prices in your town ???

Re: downlioad free porn video I'm in complete agreement---porn spammers are sick, sick, sick---and not being satisfied to wallow in their own perversion, they want to push their condition on others. Hope we can stay on topic with Jeeps, a few other things with wheels, and the people who enjoy...

Gas Prices in your town ???

Jeepin916, Major peso investment in your TJ---but $4.45/gal. gas---wheels in montion for special occasions only? I once saw a short film clip of a bicycle courier in NYC traffic---kamakazi/pizza delivery mentality, but he was making good time. Probably did not live to be an old man. I hava a...

Gas Prices in your town ???

Well said Twisted Copper---our oil money is going to people wrapped in sheets with diapers on their heads---and they are not our friends. Mexico produces it's own oil, and even has some to export, but Pemex is poorly run by the fed. and production drops every year. At least they drink the...

    Hello from Mexico

B'Ham Jeeper, Sorry to hear about your long lost weekend---I know, when your back hurts you hurt all over. If there is a serious problem riding in a Jeep will not help. There are lots of different rides out there. My last road car as a manufactures rep. was a LS-400---(a fast cloud), then a...

    Hello from Mexico

Itchee 96, Nice pic.---a proud Dad, good looking boy, and a 4 footed friend to help keep track of the boy---and of course, your wheels. Glad to know you have a booster seat---very important. You did a lot of jumps from what were probably perfectly good aircraft---an old joke---but then so am...

Gas Prices in your town ???

Gas prices down here in East Central Mexico are about $2.50 per gallon---crunching the numbers to convert dollars to pesos and liters to gallons. All of the gas is sold through Pemex, owned by the Mexican government. They are slowly raising the price---1/10 of a peso at a time but there would...
