Yeah it sucks. It’s very pricy I assume, because the oil pump is built in. But I’m already stretching myself on the replacement engine. And I know that there are kits for pulling the pump out of that cover and replacing that, and that seems like you could get in there and get it pretty well...

Couple of reasons, 1) I’m not confident in my ability to rebuild it. 2) I can’t have the vehicle down while I learn to rebuild it, so it would be faster if I can just drop in a replacement. I would probably rebuild it in my spare time, after the replacement
